Parent's Day Out ClassesThe Great Escape Parents Day Out program is offered for children ages 12 months (must be walking independently) through under three years. Parents may sign their child up for the Parents Day Out program for as little as one day per week and up to four days per week. |

This classroom is licensed for a maximum of 10 children and 2 teachers. The main focus in our Bunny room is to offer the children a safe, loving and comfortable place for the child to attend. Stranger anxiety often occurs at this age, so an environment where the child feels as though they can move about the room safely is a Great Escape priority. Love and security to is vital to the healthy upbringing of the child therefore, a lot of the day will be spent giving as much of this as possible. Developmentally, the focus in this room is on language, and social skills. The teachers will constantly to talk with/to the children and expose them to new words and experiences through music, stories, language and sensory experiences. The children will have craft, music and story time daily. |

This classroom is licensed for a maximum of 10 children and 2 teachers. The focus in this rooms includes language development, but also incorporates additional structure in the childs daily activities. The children will follow a daily classroom schedule, which will help with daily transitions and anxiety that transitions bring on. This classrooms will begin to work on fine motor skills through crafts and manipulative centers. This age group thrives on teacher directed activities. These activities allow the children to know what is expected, but also to explore the classroom and meet new friends at the same time. This classroom will also focus on basic social skills with an emphasis on sharing and taking turns. |

This classroom is licensed for a maximum of 11 children and 2 teachers. The focus in the Pony class is to encourage and develop autonomy in the children. Pony students are naturally interested in learning and are given the opportunity to attempt basic tasks on their own, while always having guidance from a teacher nearby. Ponies will be introduced to the alphabet song, and will focus on learning basic shapes and colors. Further development of social skills is a goal as children are beginning to develop relationships with their peers. |
