Ms. Julie Penguins Lead Teacher Click to email Ms. Jessi	Jessi and her husband Dusty have been married for 11 years and have two sons, DJ who is 10 and Marque who is 5 and attends the Great Escape in the Yellow Dino class. This is her fourth year teaching at Great Escape. She has worked in child care for about seven years now and absolutely loves working with children. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching her son play sports, helping in the nursery at her church, and like most moms, finding time to relax at home. Her favorite children's book is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, and loves the Little Critter series by Mercer Meyer. Jessi received her Early Childhood Teacher certificate at Arapahoe Community College. She is now working toward her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. What she loves most about teaching this age is giving the children a safe and trusting environment that they can grow in.

Ms. Sara Teddy Bear Lead Teacher Click to email Ms. Sara	Sara is new to Great Escape this year. She has a boyfriend, Jeremia and two dogs, Kane and Bunson. Sara started working in church nurseries when she was 14 and in Early Learning Centers at 17. Her favorite children's book is Rainbow Crow by Nancy Van Laan. She loves hemp jewelry, walks, music, art and hiking. She is currently Colorado State Group Lead Qualified. What she likes most about teaching is being able to give children a way to shine brightly and to see them love learning as well as give the best kind of love in return.

Ms. Michelle Teddy Bear Teacher	Michelle has three children ages 10 to 13. She spent the last four years home schooling one of her sons. She has been married to her husband for seventeen years. They also have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Blazer. Michelle loves being a mother and helping children grow in their different talents and gifts.

Ms. Debbie Red Dinosaur Lead Teacher Click to email Ms. Debbie	Debbie and her husband have four children. Debbie has been a teacher with Great Escape for five years. She previously taught the Red Dinos. Her favorite children's book is The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn. The thing Debbie likes most about being a teacher is that children are always honest, loving and cute as can be!

Ms. Katie Red Dinosaur Assistant Teacher Click to email Ms. Katie	Katie has a son. She has been a teacher for 10 years. Katie’s favorite children’s book is Love You Forever. One of her favorite activities is watching her son play sports. The thing Katie likes most about being a teacher is watching the children grow.

Ms. Laura Yellow Dinosaur Lead Teacher Click to email Ms. Laura	Laura and her husband have been married for 18 years and have two children. She has taught for a total of seven years. Laura’s favorite children’s book is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. In her free time Laura enjoys painting and crafting. She has a BS in Marketing and is working on her Early Childhood Education director’s certificate at ACC. The thing she enjoys most about teaching is experiencing the joy of learning through each child.

Ms. Asha Yellow Dinosaur Assistant Teacher	Asha is originally from an island called Mauritius. She moved to Denver 24 years ago. She is married with a daughter in college and a son in high school. She has taught preschool for eleven years as an assistant. She has also studied to be a Medical Assistant. In her spare time she enjoys cooking Indian food, reading and going for long walks with her family.
